We had the pleasure of having Terry as our exclusive wedding officiant and our pre-marital counselor, and we couldn’t have chosen anyone better.
During our counseling sessions, Terry was down to earth and relatable. He made sure that we understood that marriage is a commitment that goes well beyond our actual wedding day and that a great partnership takes work.
Leading up to the wedding he made sure to stay in contact with us to ensure that he understood our wishes. It’s extremely hard these days to find someone to handle something near and dear to your family. Terry Swain was first on my list. My wife wanted her pastor to marry us because she trusts him and I trust her judgement.
But, Terry was genuinely concerned about our Union and informed me he would only do it after counseling both me and my wife to ensure we should be married. He also informed us if during that time he deemed us not ready for marriage he would counsel further to prepare us for marriage which impressed my wife more than me.
After he met with us via zoom Terry Swain asked personal questions and opened our mind to things we never thought of but my wife and I knew each other so well it just became a comfortable conversation which led us to believe Pastor Terry Swain was right for the job as our wedding officiant.
Our wedding was an amazing celebration of love and Union. Terry played a large part and even helped with my bow tie! Our memories of our wedding will last forever as Terry played a major roll and we regret nothing. Thank you for your dedication and time, your price was much less than you deserved.

Terry was an amazing wedding officiant! He had his own flow for the wedding ceremony but was open to suggestions or adjustments that we requested.
He referenced several scriptures to dive home the significance of a holy matrimony and what it means to be a husband/wife. The ceremony wasn’t too long but it wasn’t too short either…it lasted just the right amount of time.
He was serious when needed but also allowed his personality to shine through. Overall, we’d give him a 10 out of 10 and would recommend him to any couple to solidify their union! Job well done!
